Fandango’s Provocative Question

“What do you think was (or is) the most significant event in the history of the human race? Please explain.”

During evolution’s endless, random changes, at some point, a child was born of hominid parents with sufficient differences in its DNA from other existent members of the genus Homo, to qualify as “homo sapiens” or to produce such a child when mating with a member of a related species, such as Homo neanderthalensis.
